A new brewery has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Located at 3940 60th St. in Tahoe Park, the fresh addition is called Sac City Brews.

Two couples—Katie and Todd Trauman and James and Rebecca Campbell— partnered up for the new tap room, which offers "a great craft beer selection and unfussy, get-in-your-belly food options," the eatery writes on its website.

Rebecca helms the kitchen at the new spot, and on the menu, look for a chile relleno panini with Polish sausage, whole milk mozzarella and chipotle crema; caramelized onion chicken meatball with bleu cheese and cranberry glaze; and bratwurst with green goddess dressing in a brioche bun. (Take a look at the menu here.)

And according to the Sacramento News & Review, there are 16 local and craft beers on tap, as well as a "solid" wine list.

The new brewery has gotten an enthusiastic response thus far, with a 4.5-star rating out of 16 reviews on Yelp.

Adrian P., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on February 18th, said: "The drinks are superb—local beers, too. The food is reasonably priced. The staff is super friendly, and they even have fun art on the wall. All in all, a cool place that I've revisited and will continue to revisit."

Yelper Marsh W. added: “Outdoor seating and a diverse selection. I was so happy to see the variety of beers available. Always a pilsner and a lager on tap, and that's a winner in my book."

And Kristian D. said: "Sac City Brews is not your typical neighborhood beer joint. This new restaurant and beer bar does not make their beer, but rather, has a rotating selection of local and regional brews on tap."

Head on over to check it out: Sac City Brews is open Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 3pm–10pm, Friday and Saturday from 11am–10pm, and Sunday from 10am–9pm. (It's closed on Tuesday.)
