A new Korean eatery has made its debut in the neighborhood. The new arrival to Manayunk, called Jasons's Cozyday, is located at 4371 Main St.

This newcomer—located in the former Gigi Italian Bistro space, which closed up shop last year—specializes in Korean-style street food and more.

On the menu, expect to see entrées like Korean fried chicken with sweet chili sauce, hot and spicy chicken with mozzarella and vegetable or beef bibimbap served in a hot stone pot.

There's also mushroom or seafood tofu soup with rice, along with a selection of sides like japchae glass noodles with vegetables and fish cake, corn cheese with mozzarella and fried dumplings.

The newcomer has gotten an enthusiastic response thus far, with a 4.5-star rating out of seven reviews on Yelp.

Mary L., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on March 11th, said, "Loved the Cozyday in NE Philly, not so much the drive to/from. It's such a treat to have a location right in Manayunk! Thrilled! Menu consists of Korean street food, so it's a good idea to get a lot of different things off the menu and share within your table."

And Andrea L. said, "Went to Jason's on a Friday night after walking by and sampling their chicken, it was so good we immediately changed our dinner plans and headed there instead. Both sauces on the chicken were delicious."

Head on over to check it out: Jasons's Cozyday is open Wednesday–Friday from 6pm–midnight, Saturday from 1pm–midnight, and Sunday from 1pm–10pm. (It's closed on Monday and Tuesday.)
