If you've got Korean on the mind, a recent opening is need-to-know. The new arrival, called Jin Korean BBQ, is located at 3645 Cypress Creek Pkwy.
This is the fourth Texas outpost for the expanding all-you-can-eat restaurant, with other locations in Houston, Plano and Arlington.
Customers can choose from a variety of proteins to grill at the table like galbi (ribs), bulgogi, spicy pork tenderloin, samgyupsal (pork belly) and more.
The ubiquitous banchan side dishes include seasonal and rotating dishes like cabbage and radish kimchi, Korean-style potato salad and sautéed sea plants.
Specialty dishes round the menu out with options like japchae (stir-fried glass noodles), vegetable and kimchi pancakes and Korean hot wings. (Take a look at the full menu here.)
With just one review on Yelp thus far, Jin Korean BBQ currently has a five-star rating.
Eddie S., who was the first Yelper to review the new spot on March 4th, said: "Yay, finally we have something decent on our side of town. This location has only been open for three days now. The sign on the door says they close at 3pm and open at 5pm, but on the weekends, at least this one, they are open all the way from open to close."
Courtney C. added: "Wow! Welcome to Korean BBQ! This place was amazing! We tried a bit of everything. Love the bulgogi, chadolbagi, pork belly, etc. Their kimchi was the bomb. Love the table barbecue. Don't miss out on this place! Great date night ambiance."
