Hungry? A new neighborhood Mexican spot has you covered. The new arrival to Morgan Park, called Americanos, is located at 11060 S. Western Ave. (between 111th St. and 110th Pl.).
Rooted in Mexican-American culture, Americanos offers a variety of tacos, tortas and beers to satisfy your cravings.
Menu offerings include classic starters such as ceviche, quesadillas and chips and guacamole. In the mood for tacos? Try the chorizo and sweet potato taco comprised of fried sweet potato, chorizo, avocado salsa, pickled red onion and more.

The newcomer has made a good impression thus far, with a four-star rating out of 16 reviews on Yelp.
Rhonda L., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on April 19th, said: "The hot wings are soooo hot! Be aware you will start sweating, so good though! The chorizo tacos were my favorite. Server was super sweet and attentive. Will definitely be back to try some more!"
Yelper Nancy B. added: “The food was so fresh and tasty. We started with the ceviche, which had plenty of shrimp and pieces of fish in it and was served with warm tortilla chips. ”
