I Heart Boba

A new addition to Northeast Dallas, I Heart Boba offers smoothies, cream teas and fresh juice at 9090 Skillman St., Suite 172 A. From honeydew to taro coconut, there are dozens of options for every palate. The counter-service spot— with six other locations in Texas — also serves a selection of light sandwiches.
Peasant Pizzeria

New to 3900 Cedar Springs Road in Oak Lawn is Peasant Pizzeria, an Italian eatery that bakes up wood-fired pizzas, like the carnivoro topped with bacon, salami, fennel sausage and meatballs. The artisanal dough is made by hand and fermented for two days, then slathered with a sauce that comes from organic, California-grown tomatoes.
Not in the mood for pizza? Try the wok-fried calamari, caprese salad or grilled branzino with preserved lemon and polenta.
Mille Lire

Head west to the Design District, where Mille Lire is delivering an upscale culinary experience at 3102 Oak Lawn, Suite 116. Owned by chef Giuliano Matarese and Brian Ellard, the Italian restaurant says on its website that it pairs "the rich, romantic history of Italian cuisine with a distinct, modern culinary style."
The menu features truffled chicken liver pate with marsala onion marmalade, Chianti-braised short ribs and carbonara with pecorino, pancetta and a poached egg.
Pazzo Uptown

Another new addition inspired by Italy, Pazzo Uptown "brings a constantly evolving menu designed for the American Italian fusion enthusiast," the lounge and restaurant says on its website. Located at 2680 Cedar Springs Road, menu offerings range from a raw bar with fresh oysters to ricotta-stuffed tortellini with smoked salmon to a 36-ounce tomahawk chop with salsa verde. Have extravagant taste? Order the $75 Gold Digger cocktail, a rich blend of Gran Patron Platinum and Unicorn Tears Gin Liqueur.
Trick Pony

At Trick Pony, a cocktail bar located at 2823 Main St. in Deep Ellum, you don't have to go far to travel around the world. For a limited time, Trick Pony is offering a themed drink menu with 80 cocktails representing various cities, countries and regions throughout the world, reports the Dallas Observer.
Tacodeli

New to 8031 Walnut Hill Lane in Northeast Dallas is Tacodeli, a breakfast and lunch taqueria with 10 Texas locations. Founded by Mexican native Roberto Espinosa in 1999, Tacodeli has established a strong local fan base with some of its popular salsas now available in select Whole Foods locations, per QSR Magazine.
Handcrafted with local and organic ingredients, taco options include the Vaquero (scrambled eggs, grilled corn, roasted peppers and jack cheese), the Tacoloco (adobe-braised brisket, caramelized onion, mushroom, guacamole and cilantro) and the Puerco Verde (pork shoulder, salsa verde, queso fresco and cilantro).
