A new sushi bar and Japanese spot, offering salads and more, has debuted in the neighborhood. Called Motomaki, the new addition is located at 500 16th St., Unit 184C, in the Denver Pavilions Mall.

The fast-casual restaurant comes from the team behind Hapa Sushi, according to The Know.

Menu items include customizable sushi burritos and build-your-own rice bowls. Look for the Nacho Tuna with spicy tuna, tempura asparagus, mango salsa and guacamole; and the Mean Green with edamame poke, blanched spinach, spicy sprouts and more.

Need a little pick-me-up? Come by during happy hour, when Motomaki serves a variety of Japanese beers, as well as hot and cold sake. (The regular and happy hour menus are available here.)

The new sushi bar has received good reviews thus far, with a four-star rating out of 11 reviews on Yelp.

Adriana C., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on April 10th, said: "This place is life-changing. The last thing I needed was another poke place to tempt me. They have been popping up all over downtown, but this one sticks out. Great customer service!"

And Grecia P. said: "This location is super easy to find and there is tons of seating! Their menu is huge and vegetarian friendly! "

Head on over to check it out: MOTOMAKI is open daily from 11 a.m.–10 p.m.
