Newly opened Clock-Out Lounge, located at 4864 Beacon Ave. S. (between Columbian Way and Ferdinand Street), is Beacon Hill's first live music venue, showcasing local bands and offering a curated selection of craft brews and cocktails.
Last month, Breezy Town Pizza—an offshoot of Windy City Pie—began providing deep-dish pies for the new spot, with options including cheese and basil, the Classic (red bell pepper, Italian sausage and crimini mushrooms) and the Bluto (spinach, crimini mushrooms and blue cheese).
The lounge has a relaxed, easygoing vibe, with two pinball machines in the back and nights dedicated to karaoke and trivia. Not sure which band to see? Check out the calendar of events on Clock-Out Lounge's website.
The new addition has garnered rave reviews thus far, with a five-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp.
Kate S., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on March 30, said, "A pretty perfect neighborhood bar! The vibe is relaxed and comfy with pinball machines for the kids (or you!) to play and a stage in the back. Service was friendly and quick, and the background music selection was outstanding."
And John C. said, "Good beer. Good pizza. Karaoke on Mondays and trivia on Tuesdays. Plus live music. What more could you want?"
