A new cafe called Urban Luxe Cafe has opened its doors in Roosevelt. Located at 6105 Roosevelt Way NE, Suite A (between 61st and 62nd streets), the cafe offers Turkish and American-style coffee, light tapas, beer and wine.
The rotating menu features sandwiches like the beef kebab hoagie, breads, pastries and small plates of hummus, couscous and baba ghanoush. (See full menu here.)
Urban Luxe Cafe's long, sun-drenched dining room includes a fireplace, board games and large and small tables for congregating.
With a five-star rating out of 18 reviews on Yelp so far, Urban Luxe Cafe seems to be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.
Glen B., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on April 13, said, "Great space. The food is Mediterranean and delicious, everything made from scratch in house. They also have great house-made gluten-free options including desserts. Family run, friendly and welcoming. They've only been open about a month and it's already drawing lots of people from the neighborhood."
And Jen K. said, "I absolutely love this place. Aesthetic 'minimalistic' interior, spacious, very welcoming and kind manager, and good coffee! What more can I ask for?"
