Craving sandwiches? You're in luck: a new business has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Called Vinh Xuong, the fresh arrival is located at 3501 Wazee St. in Five Points.
Located in Zeppelin Station, this is the latest location for the banh mi vendor, which has two other locations in Denver, per West Word. While Vinh Xuong specializes in sandwich offerings — look for the barbecue pork or spicy tofu banh mi — it also offers other Vietnamese eats, including spring rolls, sesame balls and a variety of baked goods.
The new arrival has gotten good reviews thus far, with a four-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp.
Quyen N., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on April 16, said: "I went to Vinh Xuong at Zeppelin and it did not disappoint. This is authentic. You can also get a little adventurous by adding some of their other toppings, like their amazing homemade chili oil. I get my Vietnamese cravings fix with spring rolls and egg rolls. I will definitely be coming back!"
Yelper Amanda J. added: “Zeppelin Station in full swing! Got a pork banh mi sandwich from this place and it was delicious! The pork is so tender and the sandwich as a whole is amazing. Also grabbed a sesame bun, perfect dessert! So glad there's more quick food options in this area!”
