Nerd-life rapper M.C. Chris takes the stage at Club Dada this Thursday night.
Hailing from Chicago suburb Libertyville, M.C. Chris was one of the first rappers to focus on geeky topics, like Star Wars, Harry Potter, ninjas and unrequited love. He now has 17 albums, with the 18th dropping later this year, and has animated and recorded voices for many Adult Swim shows and pilots.

Getter at Lizard Lounge
Northern California's DJ, producer, rapper and comedian Getter is taking over Lizard Lounge this Saturday night.
Getter — who rose to fame in the underground bass scene — has been DJing professionally since the age of 17. He's collaborated with the likes of Skrillex, Datsik and Borgore.

Ghastly at Stereo Live Dallas
LA-based EDM DJ Ghastly also makes a stop in Dallas this Saturday night.
After leaving his family's Arizona goat farm behind and enduring a stint of homelessness in Venice Beach, Ghastly landed on his feet as a resident DJ at Exchange LA. He's since collaborated with heavy hitters like Diplo, NGHTMRE and Zomboy.
