CRUDO Italian
8411 Preston Rd., Park Cities

CRUDO Italian is a bar and Italian spot located in Preston Center, offering Italian specialties, pizza and more.
Helmed by chef and partner Javier Perez, the menu focuses "on handmade artisan pastas and gnocchi," reports the Dallas Observer. "A robust baking program will produce warm, delicious breads made in-house, as well as an array of fresh desserts." (You can view the full dinner menu here.)
CRUDO Italian's current Yelp rating of 4.5 stars out of 26 reviews shows its off to a great start.
Yelper Chris W., who reviewed CRUDO Italian on March 26, wrote: "Delicious well executed Italian. Ossobuco and the Bolognese were delicious. The
by-the-glass wine list was particularly well curated with some rare finds."

Peasant Pizzeria
3900 Cedar Springs Rd., Oak Lawn

Peasant Pizzeria is a cocktail bar and Italian eatery that offers a selection of appetizers, pastas, salads, and entrees — including fish and steak dishes roasted in the Italian wood oven.
This new spot bakes up wood-fired pizzas as well, like the Carnivoro topped with bacon, salami, fennel sausage and meatballs. The artisanal dough is made by hand and fermented for two days, then slathered with a sauce that comes from organic, California-grown tomatoes.
With a 4.5-star Yelp rating out of 65 reviews on Yelp, Peasant Pizzeria has been getting lots of positive attention.

Mille Lire

Head west to the Design District, where Mille Lire is delivering an upscale culinary experience. Owned by chef Giuliano Matarese and Brian Ellard, the restaurant says on its website that it pairs "the rich, romantic history of Italian cuisine with a distinct, modern culinary style."
The menu features truffled chicken liver pate with marsala onion marmalade, Chianti-braised short ribs and carbonara with pecorino, pancetta and a poached egg.
The restaurant's current rating of four stars out of 83 reviews on Yelp indicates an overall strong reception.
Yelper Natalie S., who was one of the first users to visit Mille Lire on January 18th, wrote: "Ok Mille Lire, you've got my vote."

Pazzo Uptown is a lounge and Italian breakfast and brunch spot with "a constantly evolving menu designed for the American Italian fusion enthusiast," the lounge and restaurant says on its site.
Menu offerings range from a raw bar with fresh oysters to ricotta-stuffed tortellini with smoked salmon to a 36-ounce tomahawk chop with salsa verde. Have grander tastes? Order the $75 Gold Digger cocktail, a rich blend of Gran Patron Platinum and Unicorn Tears Gin Liqueur.
Pazzo Uptown's current rating of 3.5 stars out of 54 reviews on Yelp indicates the newcomer is still finding its way.
