
If you've ever been struck with a craving for Ethiopian food and French pastries at the same time, a recent opening in Mt. Pleasant is a need-to-know. Called Adis Paris Cafe, the new arrival is located at 3101 Mt. Pleasant St. NW.
The new cafe serves French favorites, like sweet and savory crepes and ratatouille, alongside traditional Ethiopian meals, like "siga wett," beef blended with Ethiopian spices; and "shiro," spiced collard greens.
The cafe also features a sunny outdoor patio where patrons can sip hot and cold caffeinated beverages, including drip coffee, espresso drinks and teas.
With a five-star rating out of two reviews on Yelp so far, Adis Paris Cafe is just getting established.
One, Jolie P. said, "Excellent, excellent food. Seriously, what could be better than delicious Ethiopian and fabulous French pastries."
