On Tuesday, May 1, the Arcadia boys varsity volleyball team won its home conference match against Burbank by a score of 3-0. The Apaches narrowly won the third set 25-23 to secure a clean sweep of the Bulldogs. Back in March, Burbank had beaten Arcadia by the same scoreline.

Despite the loss, Burbank maintained its edge over league rival Arcadia. With the loss, Burbank fell to 19-9 on the season; however, it has a 9-3 league record. The Apaches, on the other hand, are also 19-9, but finished their season with a 6-4 league record.

The regular season is officially over, and Burbank and Arcadia landed behind 12-0 Burroughs in the Pacific League standings.
