Burbank’s Burroughs varsity baseball team won Tuesday's home conference game against Hoover by a score of 12-0.
The Indians tallied six runs in the first inning and never looked back, racing to a shut-out win — Burroughs’ eleventh win of the season. The team is now 11-14.
The Indians’ next game is at Hoover on Friday, May 4 at 3:30 p.m. The Tornadoes’ chances of enacting revenge, however, are unlikely: the team is 1-21 on the season and 0-9 at home.
