Jazen Tea

A new tea room, offering refreshing drinks has debuted in the neighborhood. The newcomer to North Dallas, called Jazen Tea, is located at 11613 N. Central Expy., Suite 106A. So far, it's been well-received: it's got a five-star rating out of six reviews on Yelp.
Offering bubble tea, smoothies and more, this new spot uses real whole fruits and high-quality ingredients to make all its fruit teas and drinks, the company explains on its website.
Menu items include a variety of milk and fruit teas such as a Calamansi mango tea with chia seeds and mango fruit bits; the Honey Delight is made with honey jasmine green tea, chia seeds, strawberry fruit bits and aloe vera; and a coconut thai milk tea with honey boba. New York Eats

Stroll past 13531 Montfort Dr., Suite 109 in North Dallas and you'll find New York Eats, a Mediterranean, halal and New American spot.
The fast-casual spot specializes in "New York halal street cart food," the business writes on its website.
Look for six signature platters ranging from the Manhattan Mix Plate (meats, falafel, rice, white sauce and veggies) to the Hell's Kitchen Platter (Gyro meat, chicken, falafel, seasoned rice and extra, extra spice). Not your thing? New York Eats also offers an array of wraps, burgers and sides.
The Dapper Doughnut

Craving doughnuts? You're in luck: wander over to 13350 Dallas Pkwy., Suite 500 in North Dallas and you'll find The Dapper Doughnut which currently holds five-stars out of 1 review on Yelp — a good if very early start.
Specializing in mini doughnuts with custom-made fillings and toppings, this new spot is a chain originating out of Las Vegas, Nevada whose first DFW appearance is at the Galleria Dallas, reports culturemap.

Class Studios

A newcomer to Uptown, Class Studios is a fitness center located at 2801 N. Central Expy., Suite 200.
Part spin studio, part circuit training, Kwon Zutter’s new concept on the ground floor of The Richards Group building in West Village does not disappoint, DMagazine reports.
There are two classes currently available: the rhythm-riding Cycle 45 designed to rejuvenate and strengthen the mind and body; and the high-intensity Train 45, a circuit class involving three stations constructed to push you to your limits.
Taqueria La Ventana

Hungry? This new spot offering a wide range of Mexico City-style street food has you covered. Called Taqueria La Ventana, the newcomer is located at 3847 Cedar Springs Rd. in Cedar Springs.
"Our distinct ambiance and delicious, fresh menu will fit in perfectly with the thriving Cedar Springs community," says Brian Livingston, owner and president of Firebird Restaurant Group.
