If you've got New American fare on the brain, you're in luck: we've found the freshest Boston eateries to quell your cravings. Here are the newest places to open around the city.
The Ghost Walks
57 Stuart St., Theater District

The Ghost Walks is a cocktail bar and New American spot offering food boards, small and large plates, desserts and cocktails. It's the latest venture from the owners of Bijou, Cafeteria and Committee, Boston Magazine reports.
The name is a nod to Shakespeare and the opening scene from "Hamlet." "The ghost walks" is also an old expression used in theater circles: If the weekend was a success and there was enough money to pay the actors, the show's promoters and directors would utter the phrase to one another. The new cocktail bar says its goal is to make sure "the ghost will always walk."
Try a signature cocktail, like the Box Office, complete with Bulleit bourbon, butterscotch, chocolate wine, blood orange and lemon served in a movie theater popcorn container (yes, the popcorn is included). Pair your cocktail, beer or glass of wine with a small plate such as the house gnocchi (chicken, rabe and tomato), or a large plate like the Ghost Burger (Kobe beef topped with smoked tomato jam, pickled onions, Aleppo pepper aioli and cheddar cheese on a brioche bun).
The Ghost Walks' current Yelp rating of 3.5 stars out of 12 reviews indicates the newcomer is finding its way, but it's still early days.
Craig S., who visited the newcomer on May 24 noted, "Whoever designed this place should get an award for originality. The concept is cool and trendy. The neon paint-splattered chairs, art decoration, velvet barn doors on the bathrooms, padded back splash on the bar, nice. "
Yelper Jami P. wrote, "First time coming here. I was trying to find a new bar that serves awesome handcrafted cocktails. The atmosphere of this place started out really awesome. Cool looking bar and seating area."
The Ghost Walks is open from 5 p.m.–1 a.m. daily.
The White Bull Tavern
1 Union St., Downtown Crossing

The White Bull Tavern is a bar and New American spot. Owned by Jeff Baird, the eatery pays homage to the city's history and is located near Faneuil Hall, the tavern says on its website.
The business takes its name from a story involving English settler William Blackstone, who reportedly rode a white bull into the city in the 1600s, Eater reports.
The White Bull tavern has an eight-seat raw bar that serves rotating oyster options daily. Appetizers include pan-seared scallops, roasted cauliflower and lollipop lamb chops. The menu includes six pizzas, including the signature White Bull, which comes on a garlic olive oil base topped with mozzarella, prosciutto, caramelized onions and sliced Golden Delicious apples.
For libations, customers can expect 24 beers on draft and signature cocktails.
The White Bull Tavern currently holds three stars out of 21 reviews on Yelp, indicating fair reviews.
Yelper Erica S., who reviewed the White Bull Tavern on March 4, wrote, "Really fun vibe here. The music was fun and the DJ took requests. ... The bartenders and other staff were friendly. I'd definitely recommend checking it out if in the area!"
Derek W. noted, "Seems like a pretty good place for an after work beer or two. I had a cheese pizza, a beer and a few vodka sodas. It's loud enough but not too loud."
The White Bull Tavern is open from 11 a.m.–2 a.m. daily.
