Medium Rare

Medium Rare is a new Parisian-inspired steak and fries restaurant located at 3601 Fairfax Dr. in Virginia Square.
This is the fourth D.C. area location for the establishment, serving a prix fixe menu assortment of rustic artisan bread, mixed green salad, hand-cut fries, steak culotte and their very own "secret sauce."
“We based our concept after Le Entrecôte in Paris," founder Mark Bucher told WTOP, and Americanized it with desserts like hot fudge sundaes, apple pie and six layer carrot cake." (You can view the dessert menu here.)
Cava

Next on the list, is fast-casual Mediterranean spot Cava, located in Virginia Square at 4121 Wilson Blvd.
This rapidly expanding eatery specializes in customizable bowls and salads where customers can select their proteins, grains, vegetables and dips. Menu offerings include black lentils, jalapeño-infused feta mousse, pickled banana peppers and spicy lamb meatballs with harissa. (You can check out the menu here.)
Delia's

Head over to 2931 S. Glebe Rd. and you'll find Delia's, the newest addition to the homegrown Italian and Greek chain, offering Mediterranean fare, brick-oven pizzas and more. The new location is housed in the space formerly occupied by Tazza Kitchen, Eater Washington D.C. reports, with additional Virginia outposts in Springfield, Alexandria and Sterling.
Menu offerings include daily specials and everyday menu items such as pan seared swordfish with spinach, Mediterranean rice and Portuguese citrus sauce; and Gyritos — gyro meat, feta cheese, tzatziki and balsamic reduction deep-fried in a white corn tortilla. (Check out the dinner menu here.)
Badaro

Last but not least, wander over to 933 N. Quincy St. to find Badaro, a fast-casual Lebanese and Mediterranean eatery also found in Virginia Square.
The restaurant offers build-your-own meal options and provides over 20 different sauces and toppings, including pickled turnips, crumbled feta with thyme, Tzatziki sauce and several varieties of hummus.
