A new spot to score Chinese hot pot and more has debuted in Seattle. Called Hot Pot King, the newcomer is located at 710 Eighth Ave. S. in the International District.

The restaurant features traditional hot pots full of simmering broth, with the thinly sliced meats and vegetables cooked at the table. Protein options include lamb, beef, seafood, tofu and more, and diners can customize their meals with several sauces. Appetizers like beef jerky and pickled chicken feet are also available.

With a four-star rating out of 10 reviews on Yelp so far, the newcomer is off to a positive start.

Elynn G., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on May 22, wrote, "This is a newly opened hot pot restaurant and it's super awesome. I'm originally from Chongqing, China, the origin of hot pot, and this place makes me feel like I'm back home."

And Manlin L. said, "Check out this new place. We ordered slices of lamb, beef and tons of vegetables. The lamb was great. I really liked the beef jerky and pickled chicken feet. I would get that again."

Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Hot Pot King is open from noon–11 p.m. on Tuesday-Sunday. (It's closed on Monday.)
