On Wednesday, May 2, the San Gabriel Academy varsity volleyball team won its home non-conference match against Glendale Adventist by a score of 3-1.

Glendale Adventist squeaked a 30-28 first set win against the Eagles; however, the Cougars dropped the next three sets 15-25, 14-25, 18-25.

San Gabriel Academy improved to 23-2 on the season, and the Eagles ended their regular season on a 13-game win streak.

With the loss, Glendale Adventist ended its season with a 5-7-1 record. The Cougars went 4-4 in league play and lost their last two games. The team will be looking to do better next season.
