A new fast-casual Greek spot has debuted in Penn Quarter. Located at 1000 F St. NW (at 10th Street) across from Ford's Theatre, the fresh new addition is called GRK Fresh Greek.

The new spot is the chain's third location in the D.C. area, with additional restaurants found in New York, Dubai and Qatar. The eatery, which first opened in New York City in 2012, says it offers "a new take on classic Greek food."

It features customizable options for yeeros (gyros), grilled beef and chicken kebabs, salads and orzo bowls. (You can check out the full menu here.)

With a four-star rating out of 11 reviews on Yelp so far, GRK Fresh Greek has received a good response.

Melissa S., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on May 4, said: "As an American-born Greek I have to say it is rare I find Greek food this good! The flavors are just like I am sitting in a cafe in Athens! Will be back again soon!"

"Best new place in Penn Quarter," added Yelper Bonnie P. "Great Greek fast food. Every dish is tasty. Greek fries are so yummy. They have Greek yogurt, frozen and regular, with delicious topping options."

Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: GRK Fresh Greek is open from 11 a.m.–9 p.m. on Monday-Saturday and 11 a.m.–6 p.m. on Sunday.
