On Tuesday, May 1, the St. Monica varsity softball team lost its away conference game against La Salle by a score of 10-0. The Mariners haven’t scored a run since the team’s March 27 6-2 loss to Notre Dame Academy.

St. Monica failed to score a single run against the 9-10 Lancers this season. The team also lost to La Salle on April 12 by a score of 15-0.

The Mariners are still searching for their first league win of the season. The team is 0-6 in league play, and following Tuesday’s loss, it has a 7-9 season record.

St. Monica is currently floundering in a seven-game losing streak, which the Mariners will attempt to snap this afternoon against St. Paul. The game begins at 3:15 p.m.
