The Santa Monica varsity boys lacrosse team lost its away non-conference game against Loyola on Tuesday, May 1, by a score of 16-2.

With the loss, the Vikings ended their season 11-7, but with a 5-0 league record. Even though Santa Monica came up short against the Cubs, it scored 210 goals over the course of the season and only allowed 131 goals.

The Cubs finished their 18-4 season on a high note, having won five straight games. Loyola ended its season with an 11-1 home record.
