The Burbank varsity baseball team lost its home conference game against Muir on Tuesday, May 1 by a score of 2-1.

The Bulldogs scored the game’s first run in the second inning; however, the Mustangs batted in two runs in the fourth inning. Neither team was able to do anything offensively in the game’s final three innings.

The two teams will once again face off on Friday, May 4. The now 10-7-1 Mustangs, who are 6-3-1 at home, are looking to secure another home win. The Bulldogs, who are 7-11, wrap up their regular season next week with a two-game battle against 11-14 Burroughs.
