A new neighborhood bar and restaurant has opened its doors. Located at 1566 NW 56th St., the warmly received new arrival is called Corner Spot.

Taking the place of the Crooked Nail, the new business has a laid-back vibe and welcoming atmosphere. In addition to handcrafted cocktails, beer and wine, the menu features soups, salads, sandwiches and small plates like the charcuterie board and steak tartare with capers.

The new bar has already attracted fans thus far, with a five-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp.

Jeff B., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on April 24, said, "Food is awesome, staff is friendly and inviting, and the bar is beautiful. Couldn't ask for better! It is definitely a place I'll be visiting again."

Yelper Ali S. added, “What a great new spot! Went there with some co-workers the other night and man did we have a blast! Couldn't have asked for a nicer spot. The owner, Casey, was so wonderful and made us all such tasty drinks.”

Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. Corner Spot is open from 3-10 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday and 3–11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
