A new cocktail and wine bar serving Mediterranean fare has made its Denver debut. The fresh addition to Highland, called Dead Battery Club, is located at 2420 17th St.

Unplug from the surrounding neighborhood and try one of the club's many cocktails, wines, brews and coffees. If you're going to order a cocktail, choose between your favorite classic and a specialty 9-volt concoction from the Dead Battery Club's menu.

Besides libations, the new bar also serves Mediterranean-inspired appetizers, juices and salads, as well as larger plates.

With a five-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp so far, Dead Battery Club has already made a good impression.

Henning V., who visited Dead Battery Club on May 4 said, "This place is a fantastic addition to the neighborhood. With the experience from Habit and Carbon around the corner, the same, fun people are offering a chill, refined, but not at all stuffy experience with great drinks and food."

Yelper Aaron W. added, “Went here on opening day for a drink to try and get this summer started and the vibe was perfect. An all-glass wall made this all-day cocktail lounge spot feel bright and airy.”

Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. Dead Battery Club is open from 7 a.m.–10 p.m. Monday-Wednesday, 7 a.m.–midnight on Thursday and Friday, 10 a.m.–midnight on Saturday, and 10 a.m.–10 p.m. on Sunday.
