There's a brand-new gastropub in town. The fresh addition to The Heights, called Bungalow Heights, is located at 1919 Beall St.

The new spot is a sister location to Front Porch Pub on Gray Street, according to a Facebook comment. Bungalow Heights serves pub fare like wings, salads and quesadillas, as well as burgers and larger plates.

Look for the Beall Street Burger with bacon, blue cheese, barbecue sauce and a side of fried onion rings, or the Bungalow Bird with seasonal veggies and roasted chicken. (For the full menu, check out the website.)

With a four-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp so far, Bungalow Heights is off to a promising start.

Alexis S., who was among the first Yelpers to review the spot on May 27, said, "Good drinks, beer and wings. Nicely done interior and exterior. Spacious. Looks like HGTV designed it."

Caitlin C. said, "Wow, this place might be the best spot to hit The Heights in a long time! I checked it out during their soft opening weekend, and could not have had a better experience. The servers were extremely attentive and knew the menu like the back of their hand. Food was incredible — not your typical 'bar food' at all."

Interested? Stop by to welcome the business to the neighborhood. Bungalow Heights is open from 11 a.m.–2 a.m. daily.
