Looking to chow down on some Italian fare? A new spot has you covered. Located at 2934 M St. NW in Waterfront Georgetown, the new arrival is called Angolo Ristorante. The new Italian restaurant takes the place of the former Cajun seafood eatery — Pier 2934 — that closed a few months ago.
Angolo's menu includes traditional Italian appetizers, pastas, entrees, salads and pizzas, and it has a patio with outdoor seating.
To date, Angolo Ristorante has received mixed reviews, with a 3.5-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp.
Amber M., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on May 6, said, "Great new addition to Georgetown! We were walking down the street and the stunning patio caught our eye."
Yelper Brent B. added, “While we don't eat Italian food very often, the close location and nice dog-friendly patio persuaded us to give it a try."
And Fettouma T. said, "I love this place. My friends and I decided to go and try this place for the first time and it was the best decision ever."
