If you've got Latin American dim sum on the mind, a recent opening is need-to-know. Located in the Ramble Hotel at 1260 25th St. in RiNo, the new fusion spot is called Super Mega Bien.

Chef Dana Rodriguez — who emigrated from Chihuahua, Mexico — worked her way up from dishwashing to opening her first restaurant Work & Class in 2014, Eater Denver reports.

Drawing inspiration from her native Mexico as well as Brazil, Peru and other Latin American regions, Rodriguez delivers large-format dishes for sharing accompanied by pan-Latin dim sum — a meld between Asian and Latin American flavors.

“Asian food and Mexican food have a lot of things in common,” Rodriguez tells Eater. “Even though our cultures are different, we wanted to put something together that can glue all of those ideas.”

On the menu, look for a selection of family-style meals such as chipotle-honey glazed duck served with housemade flour gorditas and pickled cabbage, and braised Colorado lamb wrapped in a banana leaf.

Small bites can be ordered directly from one of three dim sum carts. Offerings include tempura-fried squash blossom, pork ribs with salmorejo (a puree of tomato and bread) and Brazilian cheese bread. (You can check out the full menu here.)

With a 4.5-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp so far, the new addition has made a promising start.

"This place is so much fun and the food was fantastic," wrote Yelper Brandon A., who was among the first to review the new spot. "My favorites were the lamb chops and stuffed squash blossoms. Try this place before everyone finds out about it."

And Kevin N. said, "You know the culinary world in Denver is evolving when you see Latin dim sum! New concept executed very well. They are owned by the same people as Work & Class, so you know their food is going to be delicious. My only warning is that it'll add up very quickly, so watch your wallet."

Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Super Mega Bien is open from 5–11 p.m. Tuesday–Sunday. (It's closed on Monday.)
