Ever wanted some Thai iced tea to go with your phở or some spring rolls to go with your khao soi? A new one-stop restaurant has you covered. Called Pho VT, the fresh addition is located at 1906 Hillhurst Ave. in Los Feliz.
The eatery specializes in Thai and Vietnamese fare. Diners can chow down on everything from banh mi and phở to curries and khao soi, a classic northern Thai noodle soup. Customers can also spice up their selections with the restaurant's own chili oil, made in-house.
Pho VT has garnered rave reviews thus far, with a 4.5-star rating out of 26 reviews on Yelp.
Andrew M., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on April 10, said, "Fantastic banh mi! I had pork last week, beef this week. Both fantastic. Spicy, delicious, exceeded expectations. And at just $7 for a 10-inch sandwich? I'll definitely be back next week."
"This place is so good. My boyfriend had the beef ball phở and I had the chicken khao soi. Holy guacamole, I've never had a better soup!" Yelper Nicole M. declared. "The customer service was great. Very sweet and friendly. I have to mention the housemade chili oil. It's like nothing you've ever tasted before!"
