A new boutique studio billing itself as the "only patented workout in Los Angeles" (per its website) has debuted in Westwood Village.
Called Lagree Fitness Studio, the new arrival to 1001 Gayley Ave. offers personal training and cardio classes similar to those at its original location in West Hollywood.
Members can work out on their own, but the big draw is the instructor-led workouts designed to build patrons' core muscles, endurance and strength. The classes, which members can book online, are typically 50 minutes long and make use of a fitness machine called the Megaformer.
With a five-star rating out of five reviews so far, Lagree Fitness Studio has been making a good impression in its early days.
"This studio did not disappoint! The equipment is new and clean, instructors are dedicated, classes are well structured, and you can sign up via Classpass," said Lisa W., who reviewed the new gym's Megaformer class on May 1. "This is a great low-impact workout for people in all fitness stages."
And Becky L. said, "There was a first-timer in the class and I noticed [the instructor] gave her a lot of corrections and modifications so newbies should not be intimidated. Lagree is an awesome workout if you stick to it. You'll be sore in spots that other exercises won't hit."
Lagree Fitness Studio is now open at 1001 Gayley Ave., Suite 104, so stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood.
