On Tuesday, May 1, the Santa Monica varsity boys volleyball team lost its home conference match against El Segundo by a score of 3-1. It was the Eagles third win against the Vikings this spring.

With the win, El Segundo finished its season with a perfect 7-0 league record and a 15-7 season record.

The Vikings, on the other hand, lost three of their last five matches and ended their season 15-9-2. Although Santa Monica went an impressive 8-2 in league play, it landed second to undefeated El Segundo in the Ocean Boys Volleyball Standings.
