Two men riding non-electric scooters assaulted and robbed a man in Chinatown last night, police have reported.

The incident occurred near the intersection of Powell and Washington streets around 9:40 p.m. when two unknown men riding scooters approached a 44-year-old man from behind and struck him.

The suspects took the victim's bag, which contained headphones, a camera, an umbrella and a laptop, before fleeing the area.

The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries during the attack and police are still seeking the suspects.
