In search of a new favorite breakfast and brunch spot?

1. Café De Olla

Topping the list is Café de Olla, a family-owned restaurant offering Mexican and American fare. Located at 2315 W. Victory Blvd., it is the most popular breakfast and brunch restaurant in Burbank, boasting 4.5 stars out of 1,099 reviews on Yelp.

Café de Olla features a lengthy list of classic breakfast options: French toast topped with fruit, whole-wheat pancakes served with homemade granola and omelets stuffed with bacon, avocado and cheese. Or try one of several Mexican dishes, including chilaquiles Azteca (tortilla chips topped with red sauce, cheese, sour cream and eggs), eggs mixed with chorizo and the El Paisano omelet filled with shredded beef, tomato, onion and jalapeño.

Yelp reviewer Hannah M. has high praise for the eatery, saying that it's "the best breakfast spot in Burbank hands down. ... I have never had a dish there I didn't love."

2. Bea Bea's

Featuring a menu packed with breakfast favorites, Bea Bea's draws a crowd, especially on the weekends. There are 21 different pancake options, 18 types of French toast and dozens of egg-based dishes.

Standout items include the matcha green tea pancakes with mascarpone, Hawaii Five-O French toast (topped with coconut, pineapples, almonds, cranberries and chocolate chips) and the corned beef hash Benedict.

The modern restaurant says it's "all about gourmet quality food, without being pretentious." On the menu, look for smoked salmon spread and rye chips, pumpkin chai hotcakes and a power breakfast of chicken, egg whites and whole-wheat toast.

And don't skip trying something off the lengthy drink list, which includes coffee and espresso, wine, craft brews and handcrafted cocktails, like the berry lemonade spiked with raspberry vodka.
