A new Hawaiian-style poke spot has debuted in the neighborhood. Called SoDo Poke and More, the newcomer is located at 2420 First Ave S. in the Industrial District.

The build-your-own poke shop allows you to choose a base, protein, sauce and toppings for a fully customizable meal.

Choose between white or brown rice, noodles or salad to start, then take your pick between ahi tuna, salmon, albacore, shrimp or tofu. Select from sauces like soy sauce, Sriracha, wasabi aioli and sesame oil and add toppings that include cilantro, cucumber, edamame, pineapple and tomato, among others. A regular bowl with two scoops of protein will run you $11; a large bowl with three scoops is $13.

Poke is also available by the half pound ($10) or pound ($18), or opt for the SoDo Special with udon noodles, mixed greens, avocado, tofu and tomato ($13.50).

With a five-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp so far, SoDo Poke and More has been warmly received by patrons.

Shawn L., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on May 25, said, "Great food and very filling. I selected the $13 large option, which came with three scoops of fish and unlimited toppings. Very generous scoops and a lot of topping options."

And Kilseok S. said, "If you love fresh poke this is definitely a great place —excellent service ... And the place is very clean. Highly recommended if you want to have some great food."

Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: SoDo Poke and More is open from 10 a.m.–4 p.m. on weekdays. (It's closed on weekends.)
