Interested in sampling the freshest new spots in Pioneer Square? From a hip clothing store/gallery to a wine tasting room, read on to see the newest businesses to make their debut in this Seattle neighborhood.

Statix

210 S. Washington St.

Statix is an art gallery and clothing store run by artist and designer Peter Robinson, better known as Ten Hundred. It features a number of men's and women's clothing items emblazoned with Ten Hundred designs, depicting everything from Game Boys to David Bowie. 

In addition to the retail component, Statix features monthly gallery shows highlighting the work of local artists, and offers painting classes for children and adults. 

Yelp users are excited about Statix, which currently holds five stars out of four reviews on the site.

Yelper Abbe R., who reviewed Statix on May 5, wrote, "My favorite shop in Seattle! Such a cool, laid-back vibe. Amazing art, amazing apparel, affordable prices and PLUS SIZES UP TO 3X! It's so nice to be able to wear cool, artistic clothes that fit!"

And Eva L. noted, "One of my favorite gallery shops in Pioneer Square. Really awesome merch and the owner is super tight too!"

Statix is open from 11 a.m.–7 p.m. on Monday-Thursday and 11 a.m.–8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. (It's closed on Sunday.)

Zephyr Bar

Housed inside the new Embassy Suites hotel near CenturyLink Field, Zephyr Bar is a cocktail bar specializing in handcrafted cocktails like the Post House, a combination of gin, rose aperitif, grapefruit juice, lime and cardamom bitters. The menu is focused on small bites like charcuterie plates and grilled octopus with potatoes.

Yelp users are excited about Zephyr Bar, which currently holds 4.5 stars out of eight reviews on the site.

Yelper Lucas D., who reviewed Zephyr Bar on June 6, wrote, "Great cocktails. The Boathouse was the best: a nice, complex, smoky drink. The tomato soup and grilled cheese combo was a tasty and addictive pairing."

Julie B. noted, "Everything was really good. The drinks were made with freshly squeezed juice, which makes a huge difference."

Zephyr Bar is open from 4 p.m.–10 p.m. daily.

Browne Family Vineyards

The new wine tasting room for Walla Walla-based Browne Family Vineyards offers wine enthusiasts an opportunity to sample their award-winning Columbia Valley cabernet franc, riesling, and grenache rosé, among other bottles. A tasting is $10, and bottles are available for purchase. 

Housed in the historic Seller Building, which was designed by A. Warren Gould in 1906, the tasting room features dark wood, antique brass lighting accents and leather seating.

Browne Family Vineyards's current rating of five stars out of four reviews on Yelp indicates positive attention from users.

Yelper Steve S., who reviewed Browne Family Vineyards on March 3, wrote, "Never been a fan of the pink wines, but Devon was a fabulous host and was able to open my eyes to the wonderful rose. The cabernet franc was fabulous and the service was outstanding."

And Yelper Morgan N. wrote, "Stopped in on a weekday night. Beautiful and comfortable decor. The server was incredibly friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our $10 tasting. I bought a bottle of the sauvignon blanc."

Browne Family Vineyards is open from 11 a.m.–8 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sunday and 11 a.m.–9 p.m. on Thursday-Saturday.
