Lupo Verde Osteria is another new addition from the Lupo Verde restaurant group, that's introducing a range of new dishes not available at the original Lupo Verde.

These include a watermelon and fennel salad with fried octopus and burrata with cheese sorbetto, chef Matteo Venini tells the Washingtonian. Meats like  lamb, pork, duck, and game are also making appearances on the menu. The three-story building will also include a market on the bottom floor.

Yelp users are excited about Lupo Verde Osteria, which currently holds 4.5 stars out of 11 reviews on the site.

Yelper Food Without Borders, who reviewed Lupo Verde Osteria on June 24, wrote, "We highly recommend fried octopus for the appetizer, pasta in squid ink and lobster as the main dish, and mango custard dessert. "

Vivian R. noted, "I arrived craving a house-made pasta but felt compelled to order the unique nettle gnocchi with delicately sliced trumpet mushrooms, sundried tomatoes, fava beans, lemon zest, and ramps. The nettle itself I found to be very subtle, but the dish was incredibly flavorful and complex — smoky and creamy, punctuated with citrus notes and the tang of sundried tomatoes."

Lupo Verde Osteria has not yet posted its open hours.
