Join 10 U.S. immigrants for a night of stand-up at The Pinch. Some of the night's featured comics were brought to the U.S. as children, others arrived recently, and all will get you laughing with stories of their struggles and observations from building lives in the U.S.

Harlem Fine Arts Show at 101 Constitution

Catch the touring Harlem Fine Arts Show when it lands in D.C. this weekend. From Thursday through Sunday the exhibition will feature the work of more than 80 artists and galleries of the African diaspora — including artists from South Africa.

Expect a slew of themed activities throughout the weekend, including salutes to African Americans in medicine and technology, a children's empowerment day and a family day.

Video installation debut at The Atrium Galleries

Catch the opening ceremony for "Lone Prairie," an experimental video installation by M12. The ghostly video presents imagery and audio captured on the High Plains of Eastern Colorado over the past year.

Based in Colorado, M12 is an award-winning interdisciplinary collective of artists, researchers and writers that explores the aesthetics of rural cultures and landscapes.
