1. The Local Fry

At the front of the list is The Local Fry. Located at 21 E. Cross St. in Federal Hill, it's the highest rated diner in Baltimore. It boasts 4.5 stars out of 290 reviews on Yelp.
With a menu inspired by the owner's travels, patrons can try recipes hailing from Ireland, Korea, Greece, Italy, Mexico and the United States. A selection of Asian-style sandwiches and rice bowls are on offer along with Hawaiian fries and Buffalo wings.
2. Southside Diner

Next up is Southside Diner, situated at 893 E. Fort Ave. at the Southside Marketplace. With 4.5 stars out of 97 reviews on Yelp, the restaurant in the Locust Point neighborhood has proven to be a local favorite.
On the menu, look for Greek specialties like gyros and spinach pie as well as burgers, sandwiches, melts, wraps, steak and Maryland crab soup.
3. Broadway Diner

On the city's east side, Broadway Diner is serving up comfort food 24 hours a day. Located at 6501 Eastern Ave., the popular spot has earned four stars out of 292 reviews on Yelp.

Pete's Grille, a traditional American diner with breakfast and brunch in Waverly, is another go-to. With four stars out of 169 Yelp reviews, it's gained a loyal following.
Egg and seafood platters, breakfast sandwiches, hotcakes, burgers, meat dishes and more are all available at 3130 Greenmount Ave.
