If you've got Asian fusion on the mind, a recent opening is need-to-know. Called Chili Baby, the fresh addition is located at 2242 NW Market St. in Ballard.
Start off with menu options like edamame, barbecue chicken wings or tofu bites. Entrees selections include Sichuan peppercorn chicken, Japanese potato stew and stir-fried pork with cabbage. Really hungry? Grab the roasted garlic lamb chops cooked medium well and served with potato salad. Noodle dishes and vegetarian entrees are also available. Chili Baby also delivers.
With a 4.5-star rating out of nine reviews on Yelp so far, Chili Baby has already made a good impression.
Jen G., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on May 30, said, "Staff was really friendly, and the food was fantastic! I had the crispy chicken bento, my husband had the Sichuan chicken, and we were both really happy with our orders."
And Katya G. said, "Great new place and easily the spiciest we've found so far in Ballard! The staff is really friendly and asked for our opinions and suggestions on their menu since they are so new."
