Wondering where to find the best delis near you?
Hoodline crunched the numbers to find the top delis in Cleveland, using both Yelp data and our own secret sauce to produce a ranked list of the best spots for a shawarma wrap, turkey club or a sandwich piled high with corned beef.
1. Nate's Deli & Restaurant

Topping the list is Nate's Deli & Restaurant. Located at 1923 W. 25th St. in Ohio City, the Middle Eastern spot is the highest rated deli in Cleveland, boasting 4.5 stars out of 112 reviews on Yelp.
Established in 1988, the family-owned deli says it gets its fresh ingredients from the nearby West Side Market. On the menu, look for traditional deli offerings like the meat-heavy Reuben, corned beef and turkey sandwiches along with Middle Eastern specialties like hummus, shish kebab wraps, falafel rolls and a shawarma plate.
Yelp reviewer Jackie T. wrote, "Nate's has the best hummus I have ever had! I love when you come in through the back door, you walk through the kitchen area and you see the family working on the food! It's just authentic good, fresh, fantastic flavorful food."
2. Presti's Bakery

Next up is Presti's Bakery, situated at 12101 Mayfield Road in Little Italy. With four stars out of 310 reviews on Yelp, the bakery, cafe and deli has proven to be a local favorite.
A Cleveland staple, Presti's has been family owned since 1903 and in its current location for 75 years. Come for the fresh breads, cookies, cakes and an assortment of Italian pastries. Then fill up on a meatball sub, Sicilian eggplant salad, stromboli and other Italian favorites like lasagna and chicken piccata. (Check out the full menu on its website.)
