Interested in trying some new spots for desserts in Dallas? You're in luck: we've found the freshest businesses to fill the bill. Here are the newest places to check out the next time you're in the mood for some desserts.
Creamistry
1929 Greenville Ave., Lower Greenville

Creamistry is a spot to score ice cream desserts. The California chain recently expanded into Texas and the location in Lower Greenville is the newest yet.
The concept behind Creamistry is to build your own ice cream dessert. You pick your size and base, then choose your flavors and finish it with toppings.
Yelp users seem to be embracing Creamistry, which currently holds 4.5-stars out of seven reviews on the site.
Yelper Katie T., who reviewed Creamistry on June 2, wrote, "Holy cow, this place is delicious! This ice cream is the creamiest I've ever had. They use liquid nitrogen to make it colder and it works. It barely melted, even as I sat outside eating in the hot Texas sun during June."
Yelper Akbar D. wrote, "Can't live without my weekly fix of Fruity Pebbles and Kit Kat! So glad there's a closer location to me and it's open late at night!"
If you're ready to build your own ice cream concoction, Creamistry is open from noon–11 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday and noon–midnight on Friday and Saturday.
Humble-Simply Good Pie
9014 Garland Road, Northeast Dallas

Humble-Simply Good Pie specializes in, you guessed it, pie — daily, and either whole or by the slice.
Some of its pies include the Alabama Pecan Pie, the Damned Fine Cherry Pie, and Emma's Texas Lime Pie.
With a 4.5-star rating out of 14 reviews on Yelp, Humble-Simply Good Pie has been getting some positive attention from the community.
Ysabelle S., who reviewed Humble-Simply Good Pie on Yelp on May 19, noted, "The chocolate pie was of good quality and it wasn'tt too sweet at all. It was just perfect! I definitely recommend their chocolate pie. It's probably the best I've had because the sweetness wasn't overbearing."
Yelper Amy D. wrote, "I cannot say enough wonderful things about these pies, especially the chocolate pie! It's hard to find a chocolate pie that actually tastes like chocolate and not some weird, gelatinous faux-chocolate concoction. This tastes like rich, top-of-the-line chocolate with the perfect crust."
Ready to grab a slice? Humble-Simply Good Pie is open from 11 a.m.–9 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday and 11 a.m.–11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. (It's closed on Monday.)

The Dapper Doughnut's current rating of five stars out of one review.
