Hoodline crunched the numbers to find the top Indian restaurants around Denver, using both Yelp data and our own secret sauce to produce a ranked list of where to satisfy your cravings.
1. Biju's Little Curry Shop
Topping the list is Biju's Little Curry Shop. Located at 1441 26th St. in RiNo, it is the highest-rated Indian restaurant in Denver, boasting 4.5 stars out of 526 reviews on Yelp. There's a second location in the Berkeley neighborhood.
The restaurant specializes in south Indian cuisine and offers items like the vegetarian combo featuring biriyani with spiced lentils, pan-fried potatoes, sauteed cabbage and ginger yogurt with chutney; and braised masala beef served on steamed basmati rice.
2. Ambli Denver
Next up is Southeast's Ambli Denver, situated at 600 S. Holly St., Unit 114. With 4.5 stars out of 329 reviews on Yelp, the upscale Indian and Mediterranean spot has proven to be a local favorite, with a sister restaurant on East Belleview near the Denver Tech Center.

Check out the kofta keshari (a minced vegetable dish made with paneer croquettes in an aromatic saffron-flavored sauce), the tandoori shrimp or the lamb biryani. The quick-service eatery has four other Colorado locations.
4. Yak and Yeti Restaurant & Event Center
Yak and Yeti Restaurant & Event Center is another go-to, with four stars out of 313 Yelp reviews. Other locations include Arvada, Brighton and Westminster.
Start off with mulligatawny soup or the appetizer platter with pakora and samosas. The entree menu highlights the biryani dish, which includes chicken, lamb or shrimp and basmati rice cooked with vegetables and saffron.
