If you have a hankering for pizza in Arlington, look no further than Extreme Pizza, located at 3444 Fairfax Dr.

Extreme Pizza is a nationwide franchise chain emphasizing fresh ingredients and inventive combinations. The latest link in the chain has arrived in Virginia Square, where patrons can find signature pizzas like the Baja 1000 (grilled chicken, black beans and salsa, black olives, red onions, jalapeños, cilantro, cheddar) and the Spice Route (grilled chicken, green peppers, red onions, cilantro, mozzarella and tandoori sauce).

The pizzeria also serves subs, calzones and wings, along with beer and soda. See the full menu here.

It's still early days for the fledgling business — it's got just one review on Yelp thus far.

Connor N., who reviewed the new spot on June 9, wrote, "Their pizza was great. I'm a huge fan of Hawaiian, which I know a lot of people aren't, but I thought it was fantastic. Even a few days later, cold from the fridge, it was still topping the flavor list."

Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Extreme Pizza is open from 11 a.m.–11 p.m. daily.
