Three Day Rule's Seattle Launch Party

Looking for love? It might be time to get to know Three Day Rule, which bills itself as "the nation's leading matchmaking company" and is now launching in Seattle for the first time. At this launch event, hopeful singles can meet the company's Seattle matchmaking team, enjoy light bites and a cash bar and play a Truth or Dare icebreaker game.

The only requirement: you must sign up for the company's online database of singles first (which is free).

Learn to Code Seattle Workshop: Intro to HTML and CSS

Interested in learning the basics of web development? This free event will teach you everything you need to know about the foundations of HTML (structure, elements, tags, and implementation) and CSS. All you have to bring along is a laptop with Google Chrome and the Atom text editor installed, and they'll show you the ropes.

Rising Leaders 2018

"Aspiring athletes, creatives, and young professionals" are encouraged to attend this free evening of inspirational storytelling from Steve Zakuani's Kingdom Hope charity.

Zakuani, the former Seattle Sounder and current broadcaster, will be joined by three other successful professionals: Romeo Travis, who was a member of LeBron James' "fab five" high-school basketball team; fellow MLS star and broadcaster James Riley; and Victoria Baryl, account manager at Gibson Media and director of Aspire. They'll discuss the obstacles they've overcome and take questions from attendees about their own career goals and dreams.
