Taking the place of Jack's Bistro, The Regal Beagle cocktail bar is now open for business at 3123 Elliot St. in southeast Baltimore's Canton neighborhood.

Named for the neighborhood bar featured in the classic sitcom "Three's Company," the bar serves old-school cocktails like the Bees Knees, tiki concoctions and staff picks such as the Bananas in Pajamas (scotch, banana, coffee and becherovka). Wine and seasonal rotating drafts are also on the drink menu.

Hungry? Snack on Jamaican jerk chicken wings, a vegetarian stir-fry or a small plate of steak tartare with quail egg. Check out the bar on Instagram or Facebook for more details.

The new arrival has garnered rave reviews thus far, with a five-star rating out of seven reviews on Yelp.

Mike b., who reviewed the new spot on May 20, wrote, "I was super impressed. Cocktails were delicious and the price point is excellent. I'm greedy — I don't want this place to get swamped and want to keep it a secret, but at the same time I want this place to do very well."

Yelper Joseph A. added, “Great atmosphere and great bartenders. Food was great quality as well. The prices are legit and they have little games to play as well!”

Interested? Stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood. The Regal Beagle is open from 4 p.m.–1 a.m. Tuesday-Saturday. (It's closed on Sunday and Monday.)
