A new vegan bakery, Cinnaholic, has opened its doors at 727 W. 40th St., Suite 137.
At this location of the popular chain, customers can choose from a variety of vegan frostings and add as many toppings as they like to create their perfect cinnamon roll, per the website.
Signature frosting flavors include banana cream, amaretto and chai, which can be topped with pie crumble, cookie dough, apples and more.
With a 3.5-star rating out of seven reviews on Yelp so far, Cinnaholic has gotten a mixed response from its clientele.
Michelle M., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on June 8, said, "This place has the most amazing cinnamon rolls. They just melt in your mouth. I bought one to go and after eating it, I wished I'd bought two. I'll definitely be back before the weekend is out."
Yelper Michael M. added, “Waited in line for almost 90 minutes for a cinnamon roll, which was kinda what I expected, so I'm not too mad."
