Topping the list is The Local Fry. Located at 21 E. Cross St. in Federal Hill, the Korean fusion diner is the highest-rated Korean restaurant in Baltimore, boasting 4.5 stars out of 290 reviews on Yelp. According to its website, the restaurant offers "specialty fries topped with unique meats, sauces and fresh vegetables," inspired by a variety of global cuisines.

Check out the Korean barbecue cheesesteak fries: fries topped with Korean barbecue rib-eye, soy garlic caramelized onions, cheddar jack cheese, crema and scallions.

Next up is Charles Village's Brown Rice Korean Grill, situated at 2404 N. Charles St. With 4.5 stars out of 214 reviews on Yelp, the fast-casual Korean spot has proven to be a local favorite.

Brown Rice Korean Grill offers make-your-own bibimbap, a signature Korean dish served as a bowl of warm rice topped with sautéed and seasoned vegetables and chili red pepper paste, soy sauce or salty soybean paste.  

3. Jong Kak

Over in Charles North, check out Jong Kak, which has earned four stars out of 214 reviews on Yelp. The menu includes marinated bulgogi: thin slices of prime beef in sweet soy sauce. Side dishes include deep-fried cod fish, kimchi pancake and Korean-style fried chicken. You can find the Korean eatery at 18 W. 20th St.
