Located on the Baltimore waterfront, Ampersea puts a new spin on classic Maryland fare.

This new spot focuses on local ingredients to create a diverse menu. Expect to find dishes like cheeseburger deviled eggs with lettuce, onion, tomato and trio beef, and Chesapeake crispy frog legs with duckpin hot sauce and pickled peppers.

The restaurant serves brunch, lunch and dinner, and has a variety of wine, beer and cocktails.

Ampersea's current Yelp rating of three stars out of 26 reviews indicates the newcomer is finding its way.

Yelper Ashley O., who reviewed Ampersea on May 28, wrote, "This was my first time here was last month! The restaurant is so cute and very chill vibes! Great for a Friday night happy hour, lunch or dinner. The views are great too. The employees are very kind and knowledgeable."

Blair's on Hudson offers a modern take on American cuisine.

This new eatery is helmed by Chef Ted Stelzenmuller, who closed his other restaurant, Jack’s Bistro, earlier this year to focus on Blair's, according to the Baltimore Sun. This new spot is still getting its social media footprint started, so stay tuned for more from the business online.

Yelp users are generally positive about Blair's on Hudson, which currently holds four stars out of 16 reviews on the site.

Yelper Sarah B., who reviewed Blair's on Hudson on May 24, wrote, "Great food, great service, and great to the environment! First, the food is delicious. Everyone in my party of seven ordered a different burger."

Yelper Molly H. wrote, "Having been a fan of Jack's Bistro for years, I finally went to Blair's with high hopes. A lot of the same menu items are back: mac and cheese and chocolate, salmon in newspaper, Guinness braised filet, plus some new options (burgers, etc.)"

Blair's on Hudson is open from 5–10:00 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday and 5–11:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. (It's closed on Monday and Sunday.)

Foraged is a new restaurant that focuses on farm-to-table dining, with each dish comprised of local and seasonal ingredients, according to its website.

Chef Chris Amendola's menu includes items such as confit duck leg with sweet potato gnocchi, cabbage and apple, and pork belly with poached egg, butter-toasted bread crumbs and maple jus.

Foraged's current rating of five stars out of 13 reviews on Yelp indicates positive attention from users.

Yelper B D., who was one of the first users to visit Foraged on May 27, wrote, "This place is so good. We went for my husband's birthday dinner. We got the pig snout, pig ears, pig chin, pig cheek and the short rib and scallops. The pig parts were great. They are a great size for sharing with another person, and the chef threw in the pig chin just because."

Rebecca L. noted, "Great place to try if you enjoy the farm-to-table experience.  If you are a picky eater, you may consider another option. The food offered here changes depending on what's in season and may be outside the normal meats and vegetables."

Foraged is open from 5–10 p.m. on Tuesday-Saturday. (It's closed on Sunday and Monday.)
