A new bar and restaurant, offering oysters, cocktails and more, has opened in the neighborhood. The newcomer to the Gold Coast, called Juniper Spirits & Oysters, is located at 1244 N. Dearborn St.
The restaurant is on the first floor of the Claridge House, formally known as Hotel Indigo, per Eater Chicago. The menu includes oysters that have been fried and sauced, a lobster roll sandwich, small plates of Prince Edward Island mussels, poached halibut, flatbreads and more. Breakfast and brunch are also available.
Expect cocktails like the rum-based Papa's Daiquiri; the Mr. Claridge with Grey Goose, honey and lemon; and The French 75 with gin, lemon and sparkling wine. The full menu can be seen here.
