A new Asian fusion spot has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Located at 1730 Minor Ave., Suite 101A, in Belltown, the new arrival is called Kigo. This is the small chain's fifth Seattle location.
Menu options include rice dishes like the Golden — chicken, carrots and baby spinach with peanut hoisin; and noodle dishes like the Bumi — steak and broccoli with teriyaki sauce. Salads and bánh mì sandwiches are also available.
Diners can also customize their meals by creating their own stir-fry or salad by choosing a protein (egg, tofu, chicken, pork, bacon or steak), vegetables and sauce or dressing.
It's still early days for the fledgling business — it's got just one review on Yelp thus far.
James-dee R., who reviewed the new spot on May 30, wrote, "Awesome new spot in Metropolitan building. Wonderful lunch spot with casual, friendly atmosphere. Both inside and outside seating! For lunch it's basically like Chipotle but Asian fusion stir-fry."
Kigo is open from 11 a.m.–8 p.m. Monday-Friday and noon–4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
